IRFP.net Presents Project: AIR

Project Air

Project Air was an interactive art project developed by Meg Rotzel of the Berwick Research Institute. At the beginning of March, 2004, we set up studios in a very public part of the Smith campus, and worked on art for a week. We invited public interaction through critiques, questions, and interactive works. I planned to building self-contained, battery-operated sound generator, using components unique to 60's-era transistor radios. My work was to culminate in a sound installation on campus, and hopefully an edition of discrete objects as well. I have written a project summary with pictures to give more details.
